REGISTRATIONS OPEN FOR THE 42ND RUNNING OF THE CNC HEADS SPORTS/SALOON CAR CHAMPIONSHIP
The BARC North Western Centre is happy to be able to announce that registrations are now being accepted for the 2025 CNC Heads Sports/Saloon Championship. This will be the 42nd running of the Championship which started way back in 1984. The Centre is particularly proud to welcome for the 18th season our main sponsor CNC Heads, the owner of which is regular competitor, Ric Wood. We also welcome back CSP Car Service Packs for their 5th season partnering the Championship.
The Championship will consist of 14 rounds run at 6 race meetings at Oulton Park, Anglesey and Donington Park. Oulton Park starts and completes the Championship with the opening double header on the 12th April and the final double header on the 11th October. The Regulations are currently with Motorsport UK for approval, however, there are no technical changes from the 2024 regulations. Draft copies of the 2025 regulations can be found on the BARC North Western website at barcnorthwestern.co.uk.
The response has been excellent so far with more than 50 registrations already accepted by Duncan Aukland, the co-ordinator. This is at least as many as previous seasons at this time of the year which is excellent news in these troubled economic times. The three ‘podium’ finishers overall in 2024 (Steven Parker, Lee Bull and Paul Masters) have all registered and Steven will be running with no. 1 on his Fiesta. Other early registrations include, Simon Allaway, Colin Modro, Garry Wardle, Helen Allen, Jamie Cryer, Oliver Thomas, Roddie Paterson, Paul Rotheroe and Ric Walker.
Entries for the meetings are not yet open but will be soon so if you are interested in competing and have not yet registered better do so as soon as possible. For those with any questions please contact Duncan Aukland, contact details on the website.
